Raymond Young CPA
Education: BS in Finance & Accounting, University of California at Berkeley, 1986.
Raymond's first job was at A-Aarow Rents and Sales in Oakland, from age 14 to 21, where he ended up being the general manager.
Raymond graduated from UC, Berkeley with a BS in Finance and Accounting. Upon graduating, he started working with the Internal Revenue Service. Raymond worked as a Revenue Agent for 5 years, auditing business owners at their place of business or their CPA's office. Itching to get his CPA, he worked with Jeanpierre and Company in San Francisco for 3 years. After gaining valuable experience, he started his own firm in 1993 when he got his CPA certification and license.
Raymond has also done joint ventures with a Big Six firm for five year stints, where he developed an understanding of what a growing company goes through in the area of finances and accounting.
One of Raymond's strength is the ability to sit with the business owner or CEO's and help them plan for their financial future, personally and their company's.
Raymond's experience as an IRS agent has had a profound effect on the philosophy and the DNA of our firm. Knowing how the IRS think and what they are looking for helps our staff to maximize our clients tax returns and minimize their risk of getting audited.
Raymond's main focus with our individual clients is to help them become wealthy and help them stay that way.
